About us
At bluebed.gr, our mission is simple yet powerful: to restore and protect the pristine beauty of the Aegean Sea, beginning this summer of 2025 with targeted cleanup actions in the Saronic Gulf, specifically off the coasts of Kavouri and Vouliagmeni. We are dedicated to identifying, marking, and responsibly removing harmful submerged debris—plastics, fiberglass fragments, tires, metal structures, discarded machinery, and other pollutants that threaten marine ecosystems and spoil our shared natural heritage.
Through hands-on action, community engagement, and transparent stewardship of resources, we strive not only to clean our waters but also to inspire lasting environmental awareness and responsibility within our community and beyond.
Our Team
We warmly invite all ocean lovers, divers, marine experts, and community members to join our summer-long initiative.
Volunteer Divers
Using free diving and snorkeling equipment, our volunteers will systematically survey and mark underwater pollutants.
Marine Experts
Our Marine Experts provide scientific guidance and ensure our actions align with the best environmental practices. Their knowledge helps us assess the ecological impact of seabed pollution and develop effective restoration strategies.
Locals
Concern citizens and member of the local community become volunteers for Bluebed and support our actions.
