Our Cleanup Approach
Our dedicated team, composed primarily of volunteer divers, marine experts, and concerned citizens, employs strategic and safe methods to clean the area.
Identification and Marking
Using free diving and snorkeling equipment, our volunteers will systematically survey and mark underwater pollutants, documenting precise locations and types of debris using small buoys and the use of underwater photography.
Removal and Recycling
Smaller and medium-sized items are manually collected by divers and removed to shore.
Larger, heavier items such as metal structures, tires, and machinery are safely extracted with the assistance of specialized marine cranes mounted on boats.
All collected materials are responsibly evaluated for recycling or proper disposal, minimizing landfill waste and environmental impact.
Transparency and Accountability
Every step, from identification to extraction, is documented with photography and detailed reports, ensuring full transparency and accountability. Progress updates, including photographic evidence, will be posted weekly on our website blog.
